The day after Boxing day

Hellooooo, so i wasn't brave enough to face the Boxing day sales but i decided to go the day after boxing day ... how brave am i?? hahaha

Well after reading so many twitters about the sale's in Lush that had to be my first shop i visited ... i knew there wouldnt be alot of the christmas boxes left but thought i'd have a look anyway ... and there was the offer everyone knows about ... spend £20 and get any of the christmas boxes or get a £20 goodie bag :D

So this is everything i got :D (minus the two love heart things)

So the stuff i picked up first was ...

Mr Butterball (but i actually got two, but already used one) there one of my fav's they make your skin so so soft :)

Then i got the comforter .. OMG its huge ... so i can easily break this up and use it in a few baths :)

The porridge soap ... it smells delicious ... ive never tried any of the Lush soaps, my BF uses them all the time so i thought i might as well buy my own  :D

I read about this face mask on the lovely georgie's blog and i was like i need to try this ... ive just used this, if you follow me on twitter ive already posted a pic on there haha! But this Product deserves its own post ... it really does ... so expect that in the next few days!

I also got the Star melt which smells gorgeous .... it smells like rockstar soap :D

And finally to make up my £20 i got the candy cane bubble bar ... i love this ... the bubbles you get are AMAZING!!

I also bought a new bottle of Britney Curious Perfume from superdrug, its the big bottle and was 1/2 price ... i couldnt leave it on the shelf for the price hee hee!

My Christmas Gifts ...

Hello my lovely followers ... i hope you've all had a fantastic christmas and if you were brave enough to face the sales i hope you got lots of fab bargains!

I was umming and arring weather to do this blog or not, i dont want to seem like im bragging or anything about what i got bought but i did a twitter post (follow me ... SugarandSpice_1) and got a few replys saying i'd love to see your stuff etc ... so hey here goes ...

Well this is everything i got minus the money i got from my parents and also Keiths (bf's) parents too...

So ive taken some indiviual pics so you can see what i got, i'm also going to say who bought me what ...

I got this Calendar from my best friend ... she know's how obsessed i am with the gorgeous Mr Pattinson ... i dont think its actually Robert Pattinson im obsessed with, i think its more Edward Cullen from reading the twilight books :) but he's GORGEOUS ... hee hee! She also got me the Christmas Cracker gift set from Lush :)

My sister in law asked me what i wanted for christmas, so i asked for the 120 Pro Palette's which are from Ebay ... and this is what she got me ... i was so happy when i opened it and seen all the fab colours, there's a mixture between shimmery & matt colours and there MEGA pigmented ... everyone should get one of these palette's, there also uber cheap :) So i'll have a play about with all these e/s pretty soon :)

Well from my twin brother and his gf i asked for the money, only because i didnt want them spending lots so i said can i have the money so i can buy some new mac make-up brushes ... so i was excpecting the money ... till christmas day and i seen the present off them both and was like mmmm whats this and you should of heard me squeal when i opened it up and realised it was one of the Holiday mac Brushes collections :) They got me the mix between face & eye brushes and the brushes are : 212se , 227se , 129se , 275se , 190se. And they all came in a silver make -up bag :)

Then from my older sister and her husband i was bought a gorgeous chunky knit scarf and hat set in cream but it actually looks white on the picture which is abit weird! But ive wore these both once and there sooo warm and also what i love is that usually with big chunky scarfs they usually molt all over but this one doesnt which is brill :)

Off my neice and nephew i got some new PJ's, there really pretty, there peach in colour with a bright pink lace trim ... and there 3/4 pants, but because im only 5ft2 there around my ankles lol!

I got these knee high knitten chunky socks off my mum & dad as a lil wrap up and they've got some cute pom pom's on them ... there so warm ... i wear them around the house instead my slippers :) Also i got off my mum and green & gold dress scarf, i tried taking a picture but the camera does not do the  of scarf any justice as its a gorgeous scarf and isnt showing that way on camera :(

So thats off most of my family & friends ... there is still other stuff but this blog is going to be long enough as it is ...and i dont want people getting bored lol!

So off the BF i got :

  A simple set, it just has some simple cleansing facial wipes and a hydrating moisturiers and a cute lil toiletry bag :) He also got me Lush goodies :) (the box is the gift my best friend got me the Christmas cracker box) So what im gonna do is a mini blog on the Lush stuff i got.

 I then got this Thai Bath & Body set ... which comes in such a cute box... so iv taken all the products out, but them in my bathroom cupboard and re-used the box to store any make-up palette's ... :) In the box there is a body brush, two t-light candles, two mini bath bombs, bath soak, bath salts, body butter & body lotion

I think these two Tee's may be one of my favourite presents ... :) They are charity T-shirts ... and the charity is GOSH (Great Ormand Street Hospital)  The GOSH is the best childrens hospital in the country (UK) GOSH is run purely on donations and charity events etc etc. I think the design is so cute too and its a registered trade mark now, not only do they do Tee's in lots of colours they also do hoodies but the hoodies have been out of stock for ages!

He also bought my some mac lip sticks, out of the holiday collection, they are the Sexy Shenanigans which is a mix between Lustreglass and Lip glass Glosses so i'll do a review and some swatches on these in a future blog :)

He got me lots of perfect presents :) Next i got the Vera Wang perfume in Princess which also came with a body shimmer brush, its one of those brushes where the product comes out as you use it, its a shimmery gold colour ... i was on my last few drops of my previous Princess bottle .. so i can use away now :)

 I  also got a new vanity case which is a shiny silver fabric one, i already have a metal black one ... and the inside is lined with Hot pink fabric and has a cute lil mirror ... this case is actually from Superdrug and came with alot of Colour works make-up, which i wouldnt use, so ive just put it in my other vanity case till i can think what to do with it ...

And finally the bestest present ever ... i got two Tiffany&Co. presents :)

And he didnt know which ribbon i'd prefer, the typical white ribbon of the holiday red one, so he got both :)

I circled quite alot of stuff in the tiffany catalogue which i liked ... HINT HINT HINT

And he got me the the bow earrings and matching necklace

Also to top it off .... He also bought me the Sleek Sunset palette ... :) x

So that was most of my christmas presents ... i did get a few more bits but there the usual, more bath stuff, candles, books.

Just to say again ... i dont want to come across as though im bragging ... but i did ask and a few people said they wanted to see ...

I'd love to see everything you got for chrismas ....

Just a quick post ... i hope everyone had a fantastic christmas day ... and i hope Santa gave you everything you asked for & dreamed of! I know he left me everything i wanted plus much more!

Im not sure yet weather to do a mini christmas blog with what i got or not ... but i dont want to seem as though im bragging ?? What do you's think?

I wasnt brave enough to venture out to the boxing day sales but im braving it tomorrow ... but unfortuntly i know i'm gonna of missed all the good Lush sales :( but lets see what other Bargains i can get my hands on ...

So i'll do a proper post on Monday probably!

NOTD - Movie Star Rimmel

Hellooooo my lovelies ... well theres only 6 more sleeps till christmas ... i canne wait!! :)

So im getting into the festive spirit by painting my nails in a red glitter polish!
Its called Movie Star and is in the Dry in 60 seconds range Rimmel!

i absoultey love this polish ... its just christmas in a bottle ... all it has to do now is sing Maria Carey alll i want for christmas is yyyooouuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!

It only takes two coats to get a good red colour, it has a gold reflex glitter in it too which is fab! there is one bad side :(  the glitter is abit chunky so you dont get a smooth finish, unless you load it up with a top coat to smooth it out!

But hey apart from that i LOVE it!!

Like i said before its christmas in a bottle!!

I was going to get the Barry M red glitter polish but thought well for one day only might as well stick with this one!

Bare Essentuals ...

Howdy my sweeties!!!

So today there has been lots of snow on the ground which was FAB!! but a shame i was stuck at work all day so i never got to play in it :( fingers crossed there's still snow on the ground over the weekend so i can go and play out ... dig my sledge out :D

Anyway ... as the title says, Bare Essentuals ... well BE is also sold on the same website as the Bareminerals website, and i got a lil pressie from a lady i work with and it was a Bare Essentuals kit ...

Im not over keen on the packaging but hey its whats on the inside that counts :) ... 

On the inside of the box is a large mirror, which can be slotted into lil slights at the side which makes it a free standing mirror ...  there is also two powder foundations in light & fairly light, another powder called gold gossamer, two shadows called gilded taupe & golden earth, a lipstick called truffle and two brushes, full flawless face & eye shaping!

So the only thing ive used out of this is the face brush, and all i can say is FAB! i really like it .. gonna have a proper play about this weekend with it and then go an FOTD probably on sunday!

Face Exfoliator ...

Well i needed a new face exfoliator and with my skin being very dry lately, mainly because of my ezcema and the cold weather its not looking very nice, so i thought i'd spend a lil more that usual on a decent exfoliator.

So this is what i decided on ... the microdelivery exfoliating wash, according to the bottle it provides

•  Immediate smoothing benefits
•  A 30 second cleansing mini peel that can be conducted in the shower, bath or at the bathroom sink
•  Regular exfoliation helps buffer fine lines, even skin tone and give the skin a healthy glow

This was pretty pricey, for 473.1ml or 16oz's it was £28.50 but from what ive heard about this product its got to be worth it!

So i'll use the product for the next few weeks and then i'll give my honest opinion on this product, but thinking about it, the price & the size of the bottle isnt too bad actually!!

Snow is falling ... LITERALLY :D

Hello my lovely ladies! So today whilst i was at work it SNOWED wooo hoooo ... we all ♥  abit of snow!! Just there wasnt much of it which sucks :( but oh well ... fingers crossed lots of snow comes on Christmas eve :)

So tonight after work i had a lovely walk around the Manchester Christmas Market with my Beau! It was lovely, it was cold but it got me in the festive spirit! The only thing i picked up was two mini wooden giraffe's from the Kenya stall ... there actually a small gift for my mum as she loves giraffe's and i thought they were cute!

Also the last few days has been abit hectic, with working and getting the final bits all ready for christmas, all i need to do now is finish my wrapping then im all done :) Finally hee hee!!

So ive got a few blogs planned so keep an eye out for them!

Im now such a happy lil lady

Ive had the day from hell, got up late, first day back after two weeks off and didnt want to be in work! Did a full day's work then i finished, headed towards the train station in the rain, train was cancelled so had to hang around for an hour for the next one which sucks! got v.v.v.wet walking home as i left my brolly in work ... my feet were drenched ... had a long day work ... My day couldnt get any worse, got home and my heating wouldnt come on ... finally the lovely BF got the heating working then there was a knock on the door .. bang bang bang and a big parcel for me!! so i thought its probably from Amazon as ive ordered lots of christmas presents, so i sneakily opened the box so my BF couldnt see what was in it ...

YYIIIPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

It was my GHD's!!

I wasnt expecting to get them till towards the end of the week, i was soooo happy!

im not a very happy little lady!

Just thought i'd share my good news with all my lovely ladies!

Just goes to show how little things can make your day ... my GHD's certainly made mine!!

the longest 10 days of my life ...

omg this last ten days have been the longest of my whole entire 21 years of my life ....

Ive been without my GHD's ... i've spoke to GHD and they said there going to replace them when there back in stock but who knows when thats going to be ... and im struggling going au'naturale, and im using my sisters old straightners and its such hard work :( :( :(

i know its not the end of the world but its hard work hahaha!

Im going to have to purchase a spare pair of decent straightners i think!

My first EOTD ...

Hello my lovely ladies ... so i thought i'd do a shimmery shadow to get me in the christmas spirit as its nearly time for Santa to come and visit my christmas tree :)

Firstly i just want to apologise for the bad pictures... im tryin to understand the settings on my camera !

Well i thought i'd do my very first EOTD ... the eyeshadow is using the original sleek palette and the free purple palette from No.7 when buying there Extragant lashes mascara a few weeks ago! i was bored of just wearing liner and mascara and wanted abit of shimmer and glitter on my eyes for today.

In the original sleek palette i used the bottom row first 3 colours and a hint of black on the edges/outer corner and for the shimmer i used the No.7 palette, and them just a liquid eyeliner and Rimmel Build mascara & No.7 Extravagant mascara.

I wore this look with a beige v.neck jumper and blue jeans and also a red/cream scarf, the scarf is so comfy and warm, and could me wore so many ways ... :)

Im going out for lunch tomorrow with my mum and my neice so im thinking of wearing this look on my eyes then, or maybe i'll expirment abit more and see what other shimmery looks i can come up with!

FANTASTIC!

i think theres only one word to describe my night at Rocky Horror...FANTASTIC! This is what we looked like just before going out! (im in the blue corset)
I wore black ankle boots, with fish net stockings with a seem up the back, two mini black tutu's, some black satin knickers to cover my bum lol, my blue corset (which had some lace attached to the bottom) my blue fishnet arm tights, crimped my hair which took two hours haha, and lots of black eye make-up and my sarah harding eyelashes, oh and red lipstick ... classy hahaha!

And i know this is hard to believe but we were quite covered up compared to some people. The picture's below was taken in the interval of the performance.

Look at his legs ... If your not familiar with Rocky Horror, he was dressed up as the main character Frankfurt! But i think his outfit it quite similar to what nearly everyone had on. The few people who wasnt dressed up looked really out of place, so im glad we went all out ... well all out for us anyway!

After the show finished and the theatre started to empty we thought well should we take some pictures ....

After all the posing for the camera we were all thinking well where can we go out now that wont make us look out of place .... and we thought Canal Street .. the gay village :D There were so many people there dressed up who'd been to the show so we fitted right in ... and the first person we seen when we turned onto Canal Street ... Miss Victoria Cockstrangler ....

Over all i can say i had a FAB night ...

We then posed for lots & lots & lots of more pictures ... which i wont bore you's all with!

But i'd definalty recommend watching Rocky Horror at the theatre as the audience participation was unbelieveable ... there was so much for us to do ... it was like we were all part of the show! I cant wait for it to come round again!!

Rocky Horror tomorrow night ... Cant wait ... :)

OMG im so excited! Im going to watch Rocky Horror at the Opera House tomorrow in Manchester ... i cant wait ... got my corset all ready with my sexy fish nets ... and matching arm gloves!!

Im off to watch it with my big sister, sister in law and my sister's sister in law ... hahaha that sounds abit weird hee hee! Well were all getting dressed up as we know a few people who have been to watch it and if our not dressed up you look outta place haha!

So keep an eye out on saturday for LOTS & LOTS of pictures and a blog of what i think of the show... :)

Also was gonna do a NOTD as ive repainted them in Natural Collection's Cosmic Crush which on my nails looks exactly the same as the Rimmel's I Love lasting finish Black Cherries so thought no point really!

Elemis Review ...

Hello ... how are all my lovely followers ?? ??

So on a previous blog (1st Elemis Blog) i explained how a lady i work with bought me some Elemis products ... ive tried a few out and this is what i think ..
Ive tried the rehydrating Rosepetal Cleanser, it has a slight rose smell which isnt over powering, it is a deep cleanser and it removed all my make-up (including waterproof mascara). I feel it soothed my skin and wasnt harsh at all, it also felt very clean afterwards. Ive also used the rehydrating ginseng toner afterwards, it has a sweet smell to it but again isnt overpowering. It (according to the bottle) helps to restore natual PH balance of the skin and preserves natural oils. I really like this toner, it left my skin feelin so clean and ready to moisturise .. there wasn't any day moisturiers in these lil goodie bag so i just used my own Olay one. Ive used these three products in the morning as i think Ginseng is very fresh and helps my skin wake up so to say!

Ive also used and loved the three Tri-Enzyme resurfacing products, facial wash, serum and night cream. With it having the Night cream ive used all these 3 in the evening after taking my make-up off i used the facial wash which may sound abit weird but i wanted to make sure all my eye make up was off throughlly.

The facial wash according to the bottle stimulates the skins natural cell renewal cycle, actively soothing and refining whilst sloughing away dead skin cells which dull the complexion, i think it does make my skin look alot brighter, even after one use.

It then advises you to use the Serum afterwards (clinically proven to reclaim smoother skin, independant trials 2006) I really like this product, it doesnt have a strong smell (im not good at explaining smells lol) but its a pump action bottle so its easier to control how much product you use, also its so soft as it glides onto the skin and it soaks in quite quickly and leaves the skin sooo smooth .. definatly repurchasing this!!

Finally i use the night cream, i love night creams because you know that whilst your in the land of nod your skin is doing lots of hard work :) According to the bottle - This nightly treatment stimulates the skins natural cell renewal cycle, actively soothing, and enhancing the skin, whilst celluar respiration is at its optimum. Revolutionary patent pending Tri-Enzyme technology acts as the catalyst in this innovative formulation for safe and effective resurfacing of the upper layers of skin ... Well all that out of one night cream haha! Again i really like this product, it has the same smell as the serum and glides on the skin so easily and soaks in quickly as i hate products that stay on the skin.

The final product ive given a go was the Papaya Enzyme peel, it's also mixed with pineapple so the smell is delicious (well it is if your like fruity smells), the bottle claims to purify and  regenerate tired skin. I used this after the tri-enzyme facial wash but before the serum. It glides onto the skin very easily, isnt sticky or thick at all, and its easy to get an even coverage for the face mask, it says leave on for 10-15 mins, the thing i like about this peel/mask is that it doesnt set, so it doesnt make your skin go all hard and tight. I just washed it off with warm water and a clean face cloth. I like this product but i prefer my usual Garnier Face mask.

Theres a few other goodies in my bag, but a few of them are tester's, and a sunblock factor 15 to go underneath foundation so there isnt really any point in reviewing those ... everyone know's what sunblock's like lol!
Has anyone tried any other Elemis products? If so what do you think, as out of the stuff ive tried i think i'd repurchase the Tri-Enzyme 3 collection but not the cleanser and toner as i prefer the one's im using at the moment, and the Elemis one's are just abit to pricey ... :)
