Hair Extensions ... YAY or NAY ??

Evening all your gorgeous ladies! Hope your having a fantastic week!
So if you follow me on twitter you'll know im considering Hair Extensions ... so ive reached the age of 21 and never had them, the clip in ones, the glued ones, the bonded ones, the weaved ones, NONE! So im after long lucious thick locks of flowing brown hair .. i really want Kardashian locks but hey i can dream cant i?

(lucious kardashian locks)

So anyway my hair has been the same length now for as long as i can remember. The reason i think its not getting any longer is that i think its breaking at the ends, as much as its growing at the roots its snapping at the ends so it kinds of defeats the point ...
(my boring hair)

So since before christmas ive started looking after my hair alot more, using Heat Protector, Smoothing Serums,Decent Shampoo & Conditioner and ive still not seen any length there, the only thing ive noticed is that my hair feels really soft and looks very shiny... so i think im doomed to mid length hair for the rest of me life,
(my boring hair)
I dont want to go really really long, i just want to thicken my hair out and maybe about another 6'' in length im thinking ... so the girl who i'd ask to do it has done this ladies hair and i think it looks really good, shes not added much lenght but it looks so much thicker and healthier.
Really obvious which is before and after shots?? (if not left hand side is before right hand side is after)
There not glued to your scalp, clipped in or weaved in, there bonded which ive heard is less damaging but hey what do i know im a beginner when it comes to Hair extensions ...

So one of the main things i get from other peoples blogs is advice on make-up, skin care so i need your advice again!

YAY OR NAY?

Have you ever had hair extensions? If so how were they attached? And if you have had them what were your experiances with them??

HELP

*Huge hugs & kisses*

  1. I mean personally I'd love to have it done but a) I know it can get pricey and b) I don't want to damage my hair...not that I know it does, but you can never be sure!

  2. alright miss i had bonded hair extensions took great care of them and everything and within a week and a half they were sliding out. not only that they were breaking my hair off in the process... i think having them braided in is probably the healthiest for your hair or just having them glued in and then you can get extra glue for when they get loose.

i wouldnt suggest the bonded ones at all!

  4. hey girl, it's blair. first off, i wanted to thank you for standing up for me on my blog. it meant a lot! and second, i am considering getting hair extensions too, not for length, but for fullness all the way down to the bottom. i can't decide if i want to spend the money on it or not. let me know what you decide on!

  5. @Georgie - yea they can get really pricy but apparently after re-searching them the bonded ones cause the least damage so im really considerin it!

@Tehr - im all confussed lol! i dont know what to do, ive researched them alot and th bnded ones are s'pose to be the least damaging!

@Holly - so many people have them and LOVE em, i cant believe ive never had them before!

@Blair - Some people are just damn right mean and nasty and i dont like people like that its not nice! Im really considering bonded extensions so i'll let you know after i have them done!
