Evening sugar plums ... ♥
So its getting to that time of year again where we bring out legs out for all too see ... and it doesnt matter if you've got long legs or short legs... everyone's got lovely legs that you should be proud of showing off to the world ...
So this is how i prepare my legs ready for those shorts & skirts and summer dresses ...no more hiding underneath leggins & jeans :)
I start off by going straight back to good ol' basics and whisk out my body brush ... i use this in whilst in the shower in circular motions on my thighs and my bum :) it helps improve circulation, eliminate any nasty lumps and dredded celulite
Then i will exfoliate all my legs and even my feet, i concentrate more on my knees as they tend to get quite dry in the summer. This helps remove all dead skin cells, make legs look softer and will help keep them smoother for longer after shaving too :)
I usually then shave my legs using good old Venus razors ... i like these because they bend and move really easily and i like the big balm bars across the top and bottom!
I then smoother then in as much as this as possible to make them all soft and smooth :)
So thats usually all i do ... i cant think of anything else! I actually exfoliate and moisturise all my body which is probably really obvious :)
Im also thinking of stopping shaving (not all together ... dont worry i wont have mega hairy legs) i want to give hair removal a try ... Ive recently picked this up ...
Nair hair removal but instead of having that nasty smell it smells like raspberrys which is nice. Im considering giving it ago, ive heard it makes the hairs grow back alot softer ... well its worth a try!
Im typing this as im lay in bed with Trinity lay on the bottom fidgeting like mad, she looks so cute when she sleeps ... i think i need to do her her very own blog post :) what you guys think ?

Oh definitely a Trinity only post. ;)
ReplyDeleteI have that body brush, but it sits unused in my drawer lol I should really get it out and start using it.
Please review the hair removal cream if you use it. I tried once years ago and found creams just didn't remove a single hair from my legs and had to shave in the end. Boo. x
@May - im new to hair removal so will give nair a go and then try veet if am converted over lol!
ReplyDelete@Claire - ive started taking lots of pictures of her, she just likes to avoid the camera lol! I think body brushin works wonders, it got drilled into me when i was doing my BTEC in beauty at college and ive been doing it ever since. Yea i'll review it im gonna wait for the hairs on my legs to grow then give it a whirl!
THanks for the comments ladies xxx
