Bloggers Anonymous

Evening sweetness ...

The gorgeous Tehren tagged me in the bloggers anonymous tag ... just a quick ramble ... i think EVERYONE should go and follow her blog, she's the sweetest person ever! (and she's my very first international swap) She blogs about her life, and its so interesting to read! I could go on about this girl all day but i'll let her blog do the talking! She's sooo freaking cute :)

Apparently there are not any rules to this tag but to introduce/describe yourself then tag it on to three new people soooo here it goes! (im actually gonna copy Tehr and do her little titles)

HELLOOOO .... Im Stacey  (never got a middle name, im a twin so i think it was hard enough to think of two names never mind a middle one each too)

BELIEVE
i believe in being yourself, not trying to change who you are to conform with what society wants you to be ... being different is fantastic, being 'normal' is boring! *yawn at 'normal'*

THINK
I think its important to make sure you smile ALL the time as frowning causes wrinkles ... and wrinkles arent good! I also think i over think things, i tend to go off in my own lil day dreams, day dreaming my afternoons away sometimes but that can be a good thing sometimes!

HOPE
I hope to be happy and healthy and that everyone else around me is happy in there life and is as healthy as can be :) (also i hope to wake up tomorrow and there NOT be any snow as this weatherman said is heading over our way ... come on Mr Sunshine its SPRING ... COME AND PLAY OUT)

LOVE
love Spring time at the moment, i LOVE walking to work and noticing the daffodills are no longer buds but in bright YELLOW bloom and it makes me smile! I also LOVE laughing so hard that it makes your cheeks and tummy hurt :) I also LOVE cups of T and my pink blankie ive had for years now :)

THANKFUL
I am thankful for everything, i dont want to sound cheesy but i really am, i think ive been blessed with a good life, ive got everything i could ask for, a perfect bf, a lovley loving family (even though they can be annoying at times) Also im thankful for GHD's ... there a GOD send, they tame my curls :)

So thats my a little insight into the way i think about things i guess ...

So the 3 lovely ladies im going to tag are :

L'occitane creme mains hand cream

Evening Sugarpuffs

I want to say a HUGE hello to all my gorgeous followers ... old & new ... im looking forward to reaching 100 then im gonna do my very first giveaway :)

Hope you've had a fantastic monday :) i did, i went to the gym bright and early and i was feeling pretty optomistic so i hopped onto the scales and to my suprise i'd lost 4lbs since last monday ... i was so happy i actually squealed then got quite a few funny looks, so i felt the need to then tell everyone why i squealed quite loudly lol :S oh well they can all share my happiness on a wet dull monday morning!

Anyway back to the title ... L'occitane hand cream, so ive been using this lil baby for around 2 months now.

I love the packaging, its so simple yet chic.

So what L'occitane say about the product -

HAND CREAM : Enriched with 20% Shea Butter, this super creamy balm penetrates quickly to protect, nourish and moisturize hands. Honey, almond extracts and coconut oil are blended with shea butter to create this extremley effective care. The Rich texture is rapdily absorbed to leave the hands soft and smooth with no oily traces, Apply day and night as needed.

A quick description of Shea Butter (sorry if you already know) -
Shea Butter can provide relief from everything from just dry skin to many minor dermatological diseases (if you have a serious skin condition, you should see a doctor). It has been clinically shown to provide benefits. Here are some of the benefits of Shea Butter for the skin:
  • Dry skin relief
  •  Skin peeling, after tanning
  • Blemishes and wrinkles

  • Itching skin due to dryness

  • Sunburn

  • Shaving cream to reduce razor irritation

  • Skin cracks

  • Soften tough skin on feet (especially heels)

  • Stretch mark prevention during pregnancy

  • Minor burns

  • Eczema

  • Sun and wind protection

  • Even skin tone

  • Reduce blemishes and scarring Preventing bumps after shaving

  • Reducing acne (especially in combination with African Black Soap)

  • Absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue

  • Helps restore elasticity to skin

  • Restores luster to hair

All that from a cream :)  I think im gonna try and hunt down a face cream with shea butter as if it helps to even skin tone thats a winner for me ... also to reduct stretch marks ... i need a body lotion too !

So back to the L'occitane hand cream

Its packaged in a metal tube (kinda reminds me of toothpaste, the way you squeeze it from the bottom lol) i like this style of packaging as its different, its not your usual plastic tube.

The cream its self has a thick and creamy consitency

Which seems to melt into your hand ...

My verdict - Ive been using this cream after everytime i wash my hands and the product soaks into my skin very quickly and isnt greasy or leave any residue on my skin which is something i like. I cant really put my finger on the smell of the product, it reminds me of E45 cream i think? but im not 100% on that. Around my cuticles i get alot of cuts, when i say cuts its more like nicks on my fingers, its something ive suffered with for a very long time, when i was younger the dr used to blame it on me biting my nails but i gave that up over 15 years ago! Ive found that this cream is really helping them, it softens my skin and ive hardly had any at all around my nails.

Overall im very happy with this product, i think it was about £15 from John Lewis which i think is a pretty resonable price, because like i said earlier ive been using this for around 2 months and theres still a third left so really its only like £5 a month, also its been on my desk at work and alot of the girls have been using it too ... so it probably would last alot longer if its kept in my bag lol!

Whats your favourite hand cream? Do yo change your hand cream in the summer and winter?

A bit of Shopping ...

Evening pumpkin pies

I hope youve all had a fantastic week and hey its Friday tomorrow :) I just want to say a HUGE hello to my lovely new followers and hiii to my loyal ladies :)

So if you follow me on twitter you'd all know this last week ive started the Gym on Monday so and i did an hour and 15 minutes and over the last few days ive been 3 times in total and all for an hour and 15 mins. Im getting to the gym for 7.15 in the morning doing the workout, having a shower then going to my boring 9-5 job!

Ive also started Shredding. If your not fimiliar with Shredding its a dvd called The 30 Day Shred ... you do it every day for 30 days, level 1 for 10 days, level 2 for the next 10 days and then finally level 3 for 10 days. Each level consist of cardio, strenght and Ab's and i started this on tuesday and im doing it every day for 30 days, ive made the boy do some before pictures which are horrendous so there a MASSIVE boost, i'll do a post at the end of April with the before & afters :)

Anway after my little ramble .. my lil shopping trip on Monday ...

So i got some essentials ... simple baby wipes, superdrugs own brand mousse & hairspray, Batiste in Diva :) a nail buffer and then a few lil bits for me ...

After seeing a lot of people in green nail polish for St Patricks day i wanted abit of that so i picked up a green polish, a natural collection base coat (i'll do a NOTD soon)

Make-up wise i only got a rimmel kohl liner in Forest green ..

(sorry for the bad swatch lol)

And finally i wanted to use my £5 No7 Boots voucher so i wanted to jump onto the Coral Blusher bandwagon ...

(in the middle of my bedroom)
(near my window)

To me it personally looks more pink than coral but hey i like pink blush so i can grumble, will do some swatches if people want ??

So the boy usually finishes work at 6 but today he got to finish at 5 which is when i finish so we went shopping round Manchester for an hour, and off to River Island we totted because he wanted a new T-shirt, whilst he was wandering around, i sneaked off upstairs to the shoes and found myself the perfect boots ... i think these boots are Marmite .. you either LOVE them or HATE them, i personally hate marmite but LOVE LOVE LOVE my new boots ... and for £64.99 there a snatch i think

According to my mum there like the boots Annie where in the musical ...

the sun will come out tomorrow
i betcha ya a bottom dollar that tomorrow
they'll be suuunnnn
Just thinking about tomorrow
clears away the cobwebs and the sorrow
till theres none ...

I think you all get the gist now what im talking about? haha! anyway i love em, im gonna wear them with skinnys, jeggins, leggins, skirts ... pretty much EVERYTHING! i also picked up a vest top in faded black to go with these boots and my jimmy choo braclets  :)

So thats about everything i bought ...

Thanks for following my blog, it means soo much that my someone spends the time out of there busy day to read my rambles!

A quick NOTD

Evening Sweetie Pies

So to get back into the swing of blogging again i thought i'd do a quick NOTD ... Its nothing special, just a cheap polish from Asda ... i really really wanted to try some of the George Polishes ive read tons & tons about but boo hoo my asda doesnt stock then so i decided to go with Asda's own polish which is the same as the George one's in price ... a squid! I Got a dark blue that once its on has a very slight silver reflex ...

It only took two coats to get this desired dark colour ... so im pretty impressed ... the colour is Dark Blue Number 16 :) i had it on for a few days before it started chipping but for a squid ... who cares :)

I also picked up a Baby pink colour in the same Asda range and BOOOO it was RUBBISH ... i put 4 mega thin coats on and it still looked clear so that's already in a lil bag of goodies to be sent to my neice's house!

So i know all of you have tried the George Nail Polishes, have any of you tired the Asda range? If So what do you think ?? I think the dark colours will be the better one's out of the colour range!

*huge hugs & kisses*

Maybelline Falsies ...

Hello all my gorgeous followers ♥
Hope you've had a wonderful day ... i certainly did .. i finished work at 12.30 .. BONUS :) also this morning i went to the gym for the first time (well the first time at my new gym) and i LOVED it .. im going again tomorrow morning :)
Anyway back to the title of this ... So i finally jumped on the Falsies bandwagon ... (i actually jumped on the wagon here but ive just got round to doing my review )
So what Maybelline say ...

♥ Instant false glam in a tube
♥The Falsies Mascara delivers a false lash look; giving you a full set of voluminous, bold, fanned out lashes and the appearance of no gaps from any angle.
The Pro-Keratin and Fibre enriched formula is designed to deliver immediate results, distributing volume and visible intensity to your lashes.
♥The patented ‘Spoon’ shaped brush helps fan lashes out.
♥The Falsies Mascara is designed to give the appearance of no gaps and spaces. In a wink lashes you didn’t even know you had look visibly thickened!

What i say ...

♥ Love love love the cute packaging
♥ Like the way the brush is shaped
♥ Not to thick and so the product can be distributed evenly all along the lower and upper lash line
♥Drys quickly to avoid smudging

I thought it would be alot easier to let some pictures do the talking ...

My Bare Lashes ...
Coat 1 ...
 Coat 2 ...

Coat 3 ...
Well the first time i used this i just couldnt see what all the fuss and bother was about ... i much prefered my rimmel x10 volume in black black but i thought i'd give the falsies are proper try and not just write it off straight away .. and boy am i glad i did i LOVE it ... ive also had quite a few comments about my lashes asking if im wearing false one's ... :)

I know some people have found that this is very clumpy, dry and flakes but luckily I can honestly say I have experienced neither of these negatives when using this mascara ... its my go to mascara of the moment ... i dont just want that long lucious lash look when im going out ... im like every girl i want it ALL day EVERY day :)

So whats your opinons on the very popular and most talked about Mascara of the moment!

Im such a bad blogger ...

Ohh Mmm Gee ... im such a bad blogger, ive just realised ive not done a proper post since the 11th March ... that was 10 days ago! Ive not got any excuse to why ive not done one ... i cant believe its been sooo long!

So PINKY PROMISE tomorrow im gonna start blogging 3/4 times a week!

So this last week ive not really been up to much, working lots and helping out in different apartments which is MEGA boring, it was my best friends birthday weekend so we went out on Friday night and then went out for breakfast saturday morning... and as a mini suprise all of our friends was there for breakfast and she thought it was just going to be the two of us :)

Also ive noticed that the last few weeks, ive been in a fantastic mood, upbeat, happy, smiley ... never a dull moment and i love it! i like being in good moods, and i think its rubbing off on the people i spend alot of my time with too as they've all noticed it ... so i dont know if its got something to do with it nearly being Spring time but hey im liking it :)

I actually started writing this little post at 17.30 but got distracted by looking through 100's and 100's of photos ... this is something i could do all day ... they can be photo's of anything and i just love looking and day dreaming :)

So here's a few photo's that caught my eye and that i really like and make me smile :)

What type of photo's make you smile ?

So i hope you've all had a fantastic weekend and are looking forward to the week ahead!

*huge hugs & big kisses*

(this song really makes me smile ..and its the opening song to one of my new fav films 500 days of Summer )

Hair Extensions ... YAY or NAY ??

Evening all your gorgeous ladies! Hope your having a fantastic week!
So if you follow me on twitter you'll know im considering Hair Extensions ... so ive reached the age of 21 and never had them, the clip in ones, the glued ones, the bonded ones, the weaved ones, NONE! So im after long lucious thick locks of flowing brown hair .. i really want Kardashian locks but hey i can dream cant i?

(lucious kardashian locks)

So anyway my hair has been the same length now for as long as i can remember. The reason i think its not getting any longer is that i think its breaking at the ends, as much as its growing at the roots its snapping at the ends so it kinds of defeats the point ...
(my boring hair)

So since before christmas ive started looking after my hair alot more, using Heat Protector, Smoothing Serums,Decent Shampoo & Conditioner and ive still not seen any length there, the only thing ive noticed is that my hair feels really soft and looks very shiny... so i think im doomed to mid length hair for the rest of me life,
(my boring hair)
I dont want to go really really long, i just want to thicken my hair out and maybe about another 6'' in length im thinking ... so the girl who i'd ask to do it has done this ladies hair and i think it looks really good, shes not added much lenght but it looks so much thicker and healthier.
Really obvious which is before and after shots?? (if not left hand side is before right hand side is after)
There not glued to your scalp, clipped in or weaved in, there bonded which ive heard is less damaging but hey what do i know im a beginner when it comes to Hair extensions ...

So one of the main things i get from other peoples blogs is advice on make-up, skin care so i need your advice again!

YAY OR NAY?

Have you ever had hair extensions? If so how were they attached? And if you have had them what were your experiances with them??

HELP

My Style Icons ... ♥

Helllloooo all you lovely jubblie ladies! Hope youve all had a fantastic weekend and i cant believe its Monday tomorrow already, that has come round wwaayyy to quickly!

So there's been alot of Style Icon post lately so i thought i'd jump onto the band wagon and kinda do my own.

So reading all of them it got me thinking what is Style ...

Style is different for everyone, everyone has they own sense of it and there own opinion on it.

 Lauren Conrad

If you follow me on twitter you'd know im pretty new to watching The Hills, ive watched two and a half seasons in the last week and im totally obsessed! Something ive noticed is LC's style ... she always looks effortless, whether shes stood on the red carpet in a floor sweeping maxi dress of a short simple summer dress she looks amazing!

Ashley Olsen

Ive always admired Ashley Olsen's sense of style even since i can remember, i think she always looks amazing, in the middle picture she's only got a pair of faded black skinnies and a white T yet she looks so stylish. I think its about how she accessories, large sunglasses, the gorgeous blue scarf and the black Herme's Birkin bag - sooo jealous of that bag! :)

There is some fantastic style icon's here in the uk tho

Pixie Lott
Pixie Lott has what i call festival chic style ... the short shorts, lots of heavy bangles, the blazer threw over the top. Random fact - She's actually 5ft7 so no where near Pixie size :) And look at those legs, if i had legs like that i'd be showing them off every chance i get!

Fearne Cotton
She always looks so edgy and cool, i think Fearne thinks she doesnt care what people think of her style and thats something i love and i wish i could be like! Her sense of style is so indivdual and i think will be quite hard to copy!

Who do you look at and think she/he has got perfect style ... who's your style icon?

If you could own any celeb's wardrobe ... who's would it be ??

*huge hugs & kisses*
