Me aged 4 :)

Monday - Headed to see Dr Make you Well because im still suffering bad from my Asthma ... ive already been off work for 3 weeks and he's given me more steroids, stronger inhalers and i had to go for a chest xray and another 2 week sick note. That would make it a total of 5 weeks off work ... im getting really fed up now, its not like i can just get on and do stuff as im out of breath ALL the time! So cant do any phsyical excerise as my chest wont allow it and steroids make you bloat :( boooo

Tuesday - So the weather was totally rubbish so i decided with my Asthma still really bad i'll make today a PJ day :) So it was spent lazing around the living room, watching tv, reading Harry Potter books. I really want to finish the Harry Potter series (again) before the next film is out, im just starting the 4th book and have till the 19th Nov to have finished them all, i really doubt thats going to happen. 

Wednesday - So my mum came down last night and was looking after my neice & nephew today so i took the opportuinity to go for a wonder around my local town with them all :) and my mummy got me a poorly present ... a gorgeous pair of brown leather winter boots ... there the BOMB! I'll do some pictures soon.

Thursday - So i spent another day with my mum and also my neice and nephew and we decorated biscuits with icing to try and make them all halloweenish ... we had spiders, skeletons, witches hats and also a few stars and hearts thrown in for good measure hahah! Tonight ive spent the night butchering away at a pumpkin whilst the boy carefully carved his hahah! mines a pretty good attempt for me!

Friday - I had to pick up a few bits just to finish off my halloween costume ...more blue face paint incase i didnt have enough. Tonight consisted of getting all dressed up and heading out to my favourite indy bar for a night of dancing and checking out the fantastic fancy dress ... but unfortunatly i couldnt do any dancing because of my tight chest so i decided to watch everyone else and people watch. My fancy dress costume ... a SMURF!!

Saturday - I went along to my god son's first birthday party ... so it consisted of bouncy castles, pass the parcel and birthday cake ... yummy!! he had a fantastic time and we got him a gorgeous red hoody with Mr Happy on the front lol :) Tonight i had to don the blue paint again on my face and arms as it was my sisters family halloween party ... for sure my face is hating my right now ... plastering all this blue on again!!!

Sunday -  its official ... my skin hates me ... its all red and sore .. STUPID blue face paint!!! So today is a day spent in my comfty's, sitting with a hot chocolate, reading m Harry Potter book (again) catching up on blogs ... oh and watching last nights x factor ... im quite looking forward to Cher after alot of people said she was pretty good this week :)

So just thought I'd share with you my outfit I wore the other day when I met up with the Bestie for a coffee, I love this jumper its oversized and mega comfy ... perfect for lounging around :)

Don't you just love lazing around a warm coffee shop whilst the wind is howling outside sitting on huge comfy sofa's sipping cappuccino's and gossiping with the bestie?

Cant you tell winter is really here now as its getting really cold ...

Dark Cherries . . .

So as the days get shorter and its get soooo much colder (im sat here with a hot water bottle on my tootsies) I tend to go for deep dark colours on my nails :)

So this colour i actually won a while back in Peonies and Lilies giveaway on her blog, it was back in April and i thought this colour was to dark for a summer nail so ive waited and decided its now time to dust it off and treat my lil nails to a manicure.

So this is Nails Inc Victoria 

How STUNNING is that colour :) Its describes by Nails Inc as a Dark Cherry Red ... So i decided to do my nails the same as my last NOTD - so Victoria on all my nails apart from my ring finger then Barry M bright red with Nail effects over the top :)

I just think this colour is like Autumn in a bottle ... Nails inc describe it perfectly as a dark cherry red colour i think i'll be wearing this colour alot throughout Autumn & Winter :) 

This is the second Nails Inc polish i own (apart from London which was a freebie with Diet Coke) and to be honest i think for the price of Nails Inc polishes (£11) i would rather have 4 Barry M polishes anyday ... but i do LOVE this colour! 

Whats your opinon on Nails Inc? 

Fight the Frizz =

Im now on a personal mission to fight the FRIZZ and im hoping Mr Frieda helps me do that :) So whilst boots has got the 3 for 2 i decided to pick these

(i know theres only 2 things there the boy picked a 3rd)

So i got the Frizz Ease Hair Serum Thermal Protection ... god thats a mouth full

So apparently this has got all the super duper qualities of all there's frizz ease serums plus a thermal shield complex to protect hair from heat styling stress :) i think i'll use this aswell as my normal heat protector ... nothing wrong it doubling the protection :)

I also picked up this :

The Frizz Ease Critical Care Miraculous Recovery Strengthening Creame Masque ... wow thats another mouth full! So as you all know ive got indivual bonded extensions that are now starting to feel a little dry so im hoping this will make them all silky smooth until Nov when i get them re-done :) It says to leave this in for a minute or leave in for 20minutes as an extra treat ... i think when i use this i'll smoother my ends in it & leave it for about 5-7 minutes.

So i'm gonna use both of these tomorrow night when i wash my lucious locks ... and expect a review to come shortly! How do you lovely ladies (& gents) keep your locks nice shiny and finally FRIZZ free? All suggestions very much welcome!

% A Flutter of the Falsie's %

So i was bored the other afternoon and decided to have a little looksie on Ebay ... 10 minutes later 120 pairs of eyelashes were kindly being packed and shipped from Hong Kong to my little house in Manchester... i know i know who needs a 120 pairs but for 99p for 40 i couldn't resist and shipping was per set and was about £2.50 ... so overall it cost me about £10.50 for all of them :)

So i decided to give a set (40 pairs) to my friend and thats left me with all these lovely lashes to play with ...

So this is the first style ...

These are very dramatic lashes ... the pointy style of them remind me of Cheryl/Sarah Girls aloud lashes

These are quite a natural looking lash ... i really like the way they criss cross over and give such a cute effect!

BAMMMM ... you wont miss these lashes ... there sooo dramatic!!

These again are very natural but quite long in length ... probably not an every day lash!

Ive got 2 of each set :) cant wait to have a play around with them, so im uber pleased with my new falsies.

Have you ordered any of these from Ebay ? If so whats your opinion ?

In the Navyyyyyyy . . . #

So when i was out shopping the other day i picked up 2 new Barry M polishes ... the very talked about Nail Effects & Navy. So from lots of blog post ive seen about the Nail Effects you cant really use it on dark polishes and i wanted to paint my nails in Navy but also use the nail effects ... so i decided to use these 3 colours :

Ive used Navy on all my nails apart from my ring finger which ive used Barry M Pure Turquoise (which i think is more sky blue than turquoise) then i used the Barry M nail effect over just my ring finger

Im liking the effect of the new barry m nail effect's too ... think it would look good in other colours ... get thinking Barry M :)

I LOVE this combination ... i know i say this about every Barry M polish but i really think Navy has to be my favourite polish they've done its GORGEOUS!!

Have you used the Barry M nail effects yet ?? Whats your opinon? good or VERY over rated??

Hey pumpkins

Just a quick post ... the gorgeous Ray over at Who is She ??? is arranging a meet up for us bloggers who aren't always invited to the organised company events and for all the sexy ladies who live waayyyy to far from London to go ... This will be held 'up north' in Durham!!

So it will consist of a day of shopping and then back to the hotel to get changed & off out for some lovely food & a few cheeky cocktails.

Mish Mash haul =

Hey dudettes
So this is my 2nd week off work poorly sick with stupid bronchitus and i decided after sitting in the house for 2 days i decided i felt up to a slow stroll around my local town to get myself the Barry M Nail effects :)

So the mish mash of things i picked up :

So the reason i went out ...

The very hyped Barry M Nail effects ... i wonder if it'll live up to the HUGE expectations ive got of it! I also decided to pink up the nail paint in Navy ... its such a gorgeous colour (im currently sporting it now and WOW) 

I picked me & the boy some deodrant from Superdrug .. they were on offer 69p each ... BARGAIN!!!! Whilst at the till they had these little Jergens Naturals body moisturiser's for £1 so i decided on the extra softening with shea butter and to use as a hand cream in my bag ...

Im hoping this would be good to protect my little hands from the harsh cold and battering winds :)

I then decided i needed a little note pad to put in my bag ...after looking at them i couldnt decide which one i wanted so i ended up with two :s whoopsie!

The green spotty one is plain paper and the white one with doodles on the front is lined paper ... i'm gonna use these for writing future blog post, random doodles, ideas, shopping lists, to do lists ... :)

Also i decided i needed some new girly dvd's in my life ...

So ive already for In Her Shoes on DVD and i cant find My Devil wears Prada so i thought for £5 i might as well buy this cute little box set ... cant wait to watch all 3 of these tomorrow :) so excited !!

So thats the mish mash of things i picked up!

Hey my lovelies ...

Just a quick HELLOOOOO to my new followers.

So today i decided to get dressed and have a wonder into my local town centre ... i also thought i'd show you lovelies the outfit i donned ... plus after having my camera for over a 18months ive just found out its got a self timer on it ... im such a techno failure lol.

I also had a large Primarni ring on & some heart earrings i got from Cuba which i forgot to photograph ... derrrrr Stacey!
This is my new favourite jumper ... Newlook have got some very similar ones which are only £10 each so i might have a wonder down again tomorrow and pick some more up :) I've also got a post scheduled for tomorrow with the goodies i picked up today.

Shhhh Can you keep a Secret ? ? ?

Can you keep a secret? 

and by secret i dont just mean a tiny little secret like you copied someone in a maths test once, i mean a HUGE world altering secret ?

Anyway this post isnt about My secrets ... or you secrets ... its about Emma's Secrets in Sophie Kinsella's (best selling author of the Shopaholic series) book Can You Keep a Secret ??

So i read this book whilst i was on holiday ... and it took me 2 days (that was 1 day around the pool and also 1 day when we had the tail end of a hurricane and it was raining) Theres only 367 pages and the writing is quite a big font but its such an easy read. 

If you like reading typcial chic flick books then i'd say this one is definatly for you ... Its about a girl named Emma who spills all her secrets to a complete stranger on a plane (shes scared of flying and thought she was going to die) well at least she thought he was a stranger ...

Duty Free ... yes please =

So one thing i LOVE about the airport is pondering around the duty free shop ... i could just walk around for ages looking at everything in awe :) 

The only problem with duty free this time was that it was SOOO busy ... i flew from terminal one at Manchester airport and there was 100's and 100's of people all slowly strolling around :( i wasnt impressed! So the only thing i picked up was a Mac lipstick in Girl About Town ...

I totally LOVE this colour ... will do swatches if you want ?

 Then off to the airport lounge we trotted for some peace and quiet ... im not sure if any of you have booked the airport lounge but i think its a FAB way to start your holiday ... Its got comfy sofa's, news papers, magazines, soft drinks, pop, wine, spirits, beers and depending what time you travel nibbles ... we had cereals, biscuits, cereal bars, crossants etc, so after me & the boy got a comfty sofa he started reading a book so i started playing on my DS i totally forgot about going back down to duty free incase it wasnt as busy .. oh well will just have to see what goodies are on the plane :)

So the bits & bobs i got on the plane ...

DKNY Be Delicious & Be Delicious Blossom 30ml bottls & both of these was only £28 BARGAIN! I also got the Benefit Glitz Glam & Gloss set ... i think this was only about £18 and also on the way home i ended up getting two bottles of this smirnoff lime as it was 2 for £20 and my friend who was house sitting wanted one :) 

So the Benefit glosses i'll do some swatches and post them in a few days as i think there a FAB buy ... 3 duo glosses so there perfect for throwing into your bag and that way you've then got two options to what you want :)

When your walking through Duty free or sat on the plane waiting for the duty free trolley what is it that you always buy?

So im usually not one for Mac collections, but this one ive been waiting for!! As soon as i heard disney were collaborating i knew that i needed something of it in my life!

So after looking at what goodies were on offer i decided it was the lip products i wanted ... im starting to really LOVE lipsticks, when my blog was born nearly a year ago i didnt even own a lip stick and everytime i go and buy new make-up im drawn to lipsticks ...

So what did i get ??

WOW aint the sketches on the boxes fab?

Evil queen lipstick in Toxic Tale (its a bright coral satin finish)

Cruella Lipstick in Heartless (a cherry red amplified cream) it looks abit dark here but on its a gorgeous red colour

Cruella Lipglass in Wicked ways (deep fuchsia with pink pearls)

So overall i LOVE everything i got ... I cant wait to use them properly ... if you'd like any swatches on either my hand or my lips just let me know?

So what did you pick up from this collection or do you think its just over rated ?

Holaaaaa Chico's ...

So i thought i'd show you a few outfits i wore on my holidayyysss ...

A plain black vest top, some light coloured distressed denim shorts, my jimmy choo multi stacked braclet & lots of gummy braclets with charms on from Rivers :)

Top & Skirt - Primark and the rest is newlook :)

I know this picture is hard to see but i had a white vest top, my faded shorts & my floral brogues :)

my very first maxi dress from Newlook :) Got lots of compliments on this dress.

These shorts got alot of use this holiday lol ... i teamed it with a hanky hem navy top and blue gladiatiors oh & a mulit coloured braclet

I love this dress ... i think its really flattering ... even on my curves :)

This is the outfit i wore for the Rave in the Cave ... my playsuit from newlook ... this is a super soft & thin denim and was really cool :)

So thats just a few of the outfits i wore!

Ive got 1 more holiday post and that'll just be the stuff i bought in duty free and off the airplane .. then i'm gonna be back to normal blogging & hauling!
