Fantastic Christmas %

Ive had a fantastic few days ... Christmas day went by soo fast!

Me & the boy had  to be up mega early in order to open our presents ... ( i got everything i asked for :) ) get dressed then head off to see his mum and dad and his sisters & brother and to make sure we spent a few hours with them. So around 2ish we had to head home, get dressed then go round to my sisters as we were there for Christmas Lunch .. along with all my family & her husbands family ... so in total there was 22 of us!!  It was such a hectic time but i loved every minute of it! 

Boxing day me & the boy was going to stay in our PJ's all day, eat more food, watch DVD's but his sister came round with her BF & ended up staying over so that plan went to pot but we played on the Kinect for HOURS ... its such a FAB game ... i personally thing its TONS & TONS & TONS better than the Wii .... Im thinking of doing a youtube video on it ... maybe putting my camera near the Kinect sensor ... so you get to see me jumping around my living room hahhahha!

So today Me & the Boy decided to go for a wander into our local town, its not HUGE but its got a fair few shops and we thought the sales would of been really good ... i didnt end up getting much, a few bits from newlook & a ring from DP's, im going to do a blog post haul thing on it all tomorrow i think so i wont spoil it now with what i bought ... im trying to convince the boy to go down to Manchester tomorrow but he isnt having any of it ... BOOO might just have to wait till Wednesday when im back in work, im in work for 3 and a half hours then off again till next week, seems pointless going in really doesnt it!!

Anyway i know i havent done my Sugar & Spice Sunday but i think im going to wait till next week with it being the Holidays and all that jazz! Ive took tons of pictures of my Christmas day but im not going to share them as alot of them have got my niece's & nephew on & i dont think my sister would want me to plaster them all over my blog ... SORRY!!!!!!!

So the products ive tried are :

The first thing i like about these are the packaging, i think they look quite vintage, i think thats because of the 'pin up' style lady say on the front. Its quite hard to describe these little beauties, there very thick and creamy in the pot but as soon as they go on the skin there very smooth and absorb very quickly (well that wasnt that hard to describe lol). I think these two creams scent wise are very different, the pink one (rum&blackcurrant) is such a summery sweet scent whilst the orange one (champagne&spice) is such a deep, spicy complex smell, i think there definatly a summer cream and a winter cream and because of the smell i have been favouring the champagne & spice one.   The price of these little gems are £14.99 for 120ml. 

 ' The Secret' Anti-Aging oil and i can officialy say im in LOVE! I think this product is really the best thing on the website, its even been mentioned on Glamour magazines website earlier this month! 
According to Betty : With a special blend of ingredients working in harmony with your skin, to help repair damaged and tired cells, combat dryness and reduce wrinkles to reveal your most radiant, youthful self. 
I just cant find the words to describe this oil ... even though its an oil its not greasy at all and like the  Moisturising creams is absorbed really quickly into the skin. Just a few things ive noticed change from using this oil, less dry patches, the ezcema on my eye's not popping up as frequent, and very soft cheeks :) I just cant praise it enough ... it also smells delicious!! This retails at £15.99 for 50ml.

Oh Christmas Tree Oh Christmas Tree

IVE JUST FOUND THIS IN MY LIST OF POST'S ... IT WAS ACTUALLY WRITTEN ON THE 05/12/2010 AND IVE NOT A  CLUE WHY IT WASNT POSTED, I THOUGHT IT HAD BEEN SCHEDULED ... SO ITS ABIT LATE BUT OH WELL!!


So if you've read my Sugar and Spice Sundays 006

You'd of read that on Saturday i decided to put my christmas tree up :) I usually dont put it up till the 2nd weekend in December but i think all this snow got me in the festive mood!

So i thought i'd share a few pictures with you.

The Shoe has to be one of my favourite Christmas tree decorations, ive got two of them so they obviously make a pair, Even though my tree decorations are gold & cream ive also got 1 Red bauble on there and this is the Cancer Research Bauble :)

I love my Santa & Penguin tea light holders, they leave little star shadows on the walls.

Do you know how HARD it is to take a picture of a snow globe in focus whilst the snow is still floating around ... well if you dont trust me its HARD hahaha!

And finally the last picture is what my room looks like with the main light on & also with the main light off so you can see all the twinkly lights on my tree, in my garland on the fire place, and a few candles flickering away! (look in the mirrow & you can see my present decorations on the other wall lol)

Sugar & Spice Sundays 008 %

So Its Sunday night & ive totally messed this weeks Sugar & Spice Sundays, so im just gonna do abit of a ramble, hope thats ok with you all!

I cant actually remember what i did on Monday, obviously if i cant remember then it wasnt anything interesting at all lol. So Tuesday consisted of me going into work to have a chat with my manager about my absence in regards to my asthma, it went really well and if all goes to plan im back in work on Monday wooo i cant wait im so excited, im feeling tons better so thats a bonus. Also on Tuesday i went to watch my nephew in his nativity play today, it was called Barn Yard Animals (im not sure if your aware but schools aren't allowed to do traditional nativity plays anymore), it was really good & he was an angel with the biggest wings lol, i think my sister went abit ott whilst making them lol! The boy's training coach came round for a takeaway & we ended up with Domino's again, i think its because we've got 50% off vouchers if you spend over £30 which is VERY easily done, so we all ended up eating our weight in Pizza which was scrummy, well may of been scrummy but VERY bad for my expanding waist line!

You've probably already read my Pocket Full of Sunshine post to find out i went to the boy's martial arts Christmas do on Thursday, it was a really good night, i wont go on about it here as ive already rambled about that once lol!  Ive had a fantastic day today, its my nieces 9th birthday on Wednesday so for her birthday her and 3 friends went for a photo shoot, they all had their hair done, nails painted with some sparkly polishes and then went to pose and generally have fun, they all had a fantastic day and it was fab being there seeing them all so confident infront of a camera and enjoying every minute of it


So its now 23.28 and im lay in bed typing this wondering should i upload it tonight or wait till tomorrow when i can get a picture to put with it as i dont really want one of me in my PJ's minus any make-up & hair scrapped back ... Im also feeling like i havent blogged properly in ages or been on twitter for that matter. I'm really looking forward to 2011, I've got lots of resolutions that im going to keep next year, there not going to be extremely extravagant but ones that are easy to keep but make a difference in my life, i wont go on about my resolutions as ive already started typing that post, i want to make sure im using the right words and thats its properly written too


Anyway im rambling now and ive decided to post this on Monday so again my Sugar & Spice Sundays is going to be a a day late but all i can say is SORRRRRYYYYYY :) Also big apologies for this post being all rambley and not as structered as my usual Sunday post but then again if you prefer this type of ramble just let me know and i can do it more often!

So this is the outfit i wore when i went to the boys martial arts christmas do, even thought it was a christmas do it was also a presentation evening for the children of the club, and from what i gathered it wasnt going to be a really dressy occasion so i decided on this outfit & also layered it up with 2 pairs of tights & a body suit lol! 

I enjoyed meeting everyone who the boy trains with and hope i left a good impression :) Also i remember  talking to the owner of the whole club, not just the one in my town the owner of the 'Cobra' association, just i dont remmeber what i was talking about :S thats what 4 large glasses of Rose and after that the boy got me a bottle of Rose which i drank ... luckily i didnt feel really drunk and this morning i was a little hung over but nothing a good cuppa didnt sort :) The boy drank quite alot and then got up for work at 6 this morning ... did a full day at work then came home and he's full of a cold so now he's gone to bed for a nap, he should be training tonight but i doubt he's going to go, he's a typical man and is saying he's got flu!! tut tut!

So ive also got a few pictures of my make-up which ive decided im going to do a 2nd post on that so this post isn't HUGE! So thanks for reading sweeties.

SORRY ITS A DAY LATE!

Monday - I feel that since doing these regular features every monday i dont even get dressed but just had a look back and for the last few Mondays i had got dressed .. what an achievement i hear you saying hahah! So today i didnt get dressed, i spoke to my Dr on the phone who's given me more tablets and another 2 weeks off work! I dont want to feel like im always moaning about my asthma but its really getting to me now! :'(


Tuesday - So i got dressed today,donned me winter boots and headed out in the ice to get my sicknote & prescription from the dr's, i skidded EVERYWHERE ... but luckily i didnt fall woooo! I decided to go to my sisters on my way home for a cup of T and a chit chat!


Wednesday - STUPID asthma ... ive got quite a tight chest today so that means im going to be sitting in all day ... ive actually watched ALOT of hair tutorials on youtube today, there's some FAB guru's ive subscribed too :) I decided i couldnt stay in ALL day so i got dressed and met the boy after he finished work at the station at 4.30 and got a few bits & peices, majority of the stuff was CHOCOLATE whoopsie!!!


Thursday - Ive finished my christmas shopping apart from my mums but im getting that on Sunday then im all finished woooo ... i did cheat & order the final few bits tonight online lol, i hate ordering stuff online & paying ridiculous postage but oh well its been done now :) So did abit of late night shopping in my town centre, im not sure why they call it late night shopping when out of all the shops only a 1/4 stay open which is RUBBISH but i did get my mitts on the Backcomb in a Bottle & cant wait to use it tomorrow!


Friday - So i wasnt going to do anything today but my bestie rang me & see if i wanted to meet up for a coffee and a chat so i decided to get dressed & head on out, we ended up going to Costa & sitting on the big comfty leather sofa's & got all cosy ... i actually had a coffee,it was my first one since the beginning of Nov & it gave me tummy ache .. back on the Tea ALL the way! I then went down to Manchester to meet the boy after he finished work, we had a wonder around the Arndale centre, i filmed a haul where you can see all my goodies, along with my new winter coat which is LOVELY!!


Saturday - Me & the boy didnt get up till gone 11.30,i know i know LAZY! We were that lazy we even had a few attempted deliveries through the door! So we decided to go for a walk into our local town centre & have a wonder around, looked in topshop, newlook, DP's and all the equilvant boys versions and we didnt get a thing, although i did want the boy to get this, because he's called Keith lol! but he didnt agree, we did abit of food shopping, consisted of WW meals, cans of pop, some fish, and two tubs of Ben & Jerrys, so thats going to last us till christmas hahah! It was then time to order Domino's and watch X factor & all i can say is WOW Rihanna was AMAZING!!!


Sunday - I got up bright & early, well i should of got up bright & early alarmset at 7.30 but i actually rolled out of bed at 9.40 ... WHOOPS! So i rushed around got ready & dressed and then took my neice shopping for her birthday present with my mum, we went into newlook as she wanted some clothes from the kids section and i was appalled at some of the stuff they were selling for 9-10 year olds ... they had tops for children and the exact same top of adults ... i just couldnt get my head around it, why would a 9yr old where a top that is also aimed at adults? Is that just me being old fashioned? Like the rest of the country as soon as it turned 19.30 we switched our TV's over to the very much dragged out X factor FINALS and wooooooo Matt won

All my clothes & NOTHING to wear!

So at the moment im typing this for the 2nd time ... i wrote it all up before and then was testing a few post and then went to delete the testing one's but because im a total DOPE i deleted this one ... DERRRR!!

So all the snow has gone from where i live but the grounds have been taken over by ICE ... its horrendous, im sat on bed with the blinds open writing this post and im also watching the people sliping and sliding all over the pavements, ive only been sat here about 20 mins and 2 people have already fell, and when i say fell i dont just mean slipped i actually mean feet came off the floor as they fell backwards, luckily they wasnt injured as i could see then laughing!!!

Have you ever had one of those days where there is literally nothing to wear in your wardrobe? Well today im having that day ... the one we all dread! So i must of tried on about 7/8 different outfits and they were getting worse and worse with each look ... so i decided i needed a cup of T was in order then i battled with wardrobe again and this is what i came up with :

So thats about it, ive also filmed an OOTD video which can be found HERE, im hoping to do an OOTD video at least once a week, as they only take a few mins and i'll have time before i leave for work .. well when im back in work that is lol!

I actually need YOUR help, everytime im writing a blog post and i leave a line between paragraphs and stuff, in the actual editor im only leaving one line but when i preview it & also publish my post its leaving HUGE gaps ... any ideas why ??


See ive only pressed enter twice to leave one line but it ends up with a HUGE gap like this (but on post editor thing it looks fine)
This is what happens when i press enter once, the writing is right underneath without a gap .. and its not what i want ..

So were into December now, its looking very christmassy everywhere, the snow's falling all through out the UK, the fairy lights are twinkling and ive got christmas candles lit so it smells all spicy & christmassy!

So I just thought  i'd do show you what i've asked for for Christmas of the boyf! Ive not asked for loads, & we've both decided not to go stupid on each other this year. Also the boy doesn't like me knowing everything ive got so i get to pick half of it then he has to use his imagination for the other half of my presents!

So ive picked :

- The Christian Dior Miniatures from boots which is £25

- Coin Purse from Accessorise, i dont want all 3 but the boy can choose which, there £8 each.

- Navy Leather Tassel Purse from Topshop for £22

- Black Tassel Holdall from Next for £30

- A cream knitted style mug, its the same as the one i mentioned in my November Favourites video but a different colour, i think its about £5 from Superdrug

- Sex and the City 2 on DVD about £15 from HMV

-  finally the palette the whole world has got apart from me ...the Urban Decay Naked Palette which is around £30

I forgot to picture another thing ive asked for : the Harry Potter books  1-7 in a nice box. As ive read them a few times but im borrowing my sisters books so i want my own!

Thats about everything i want, I could go overboard and say i want a balenciaga city handbag, some Tiffany jewellery a Mac book ... but thats not going to happen and im being sensible, and to be honest there's nothing else i want, ive got everything i need!

Sugar & Spice Sundays 006%

Monday - we had SNOW ...wooo ...well im not sure you could call it snow, more like a light dusting over the roads :) I was up bright & early to go to the ashtma clinic this morning at 8.40, not much they could tell me but i'd waited 6 weeks for the appoitment so i wasnt going to cancel, then at 10 i had an appoitment to get my hair extensions re-done and all i can say is i LOVE them ... i love having long lucious locks :) alot of people ask me why cant i just grow my own hair,well i could but its to thin & because i want it looonnnggg it will look scraggly at the ends. This afternoon i was at the hospital in regards to my ashtma, I had some bloods done,did a breathing test had a chat with Dr Pain (that was his real name!!) then got told come back in 6 weeks!!


Tuesday -  So i woke up this morning to proper snow ... not just a light dusting but a good foot of snow :) wooooo!! So i took back a pair of wellies i had bought from shoezone as they were too big, they cost me £13, when i gave them the lad and she scanned them they came up at £19.99 ... i was like i didnt pay that much and she said oh no we've increased the prices because of the weather and we know people will buy them i was like WHAT!! i was so shocked!! Im definatly ordering mine online now!


Wednesday - My mum came up today to see me for abit and also she was looking after my neice & nephew as their school's closed because of the snow ... im shocked at that .. we have abit of snow & the whole of the country comes to a standstill ... so we spent the day playing in the yard building snowmen ... well my neice & nephew did i watched out the window with a cup of T hahaha

Thursday - So my mum went home & the school was still closed so i had my neice & nephew for the day, we watched Home Alone 1 & 2 and toystory 1. We decided to venture into our local town to get something for lunch, because im such a soft auntie we ended up in Macdonalds, then went to greggs to Gingerbread men & cakes to bring home and watch Homealone with! The boy's fighting coach came round tonight with the DVD from the club's fighters from a few weeks ago ... so we ended up watching his fight again, i didnt like watching it in person & certainly didnt enjoy watching it on the TV in slow motion whilst they both critised every move!


Friday - I filmed my first 'tutorial' today ... it isnt the best tutorial,i was going to curl my hair so i decided to film it for you all to see. I also didnt leave my house today, it was just to warm & cosy to venture out! Ive had a pretty productive day writing & scheduling blog posts, ive realised im kinda neglecting my blog & im not sure why ... so im SORRY i'll make more of an effort ... i PROMISE!!!! 

Saturday - I decided i needed s few more christmas decorations so i decided to brave the icy pavements and head into town to pick up a few bits & peices, I then spent the afternoon watching The Santa Clause the Movie, but the original one made back in 1985 (older than me) with Dudley Moore whilst decorating my front room, its now all christmassy and i LOVE it ... do you wanna see any pictures? If you do just comment below and i'll happily snap away.  Tonight i spent the evening at my sisters house, the girls all went round, had a chinese a sneaky bottle of Rose and chatted the night away, x factor was on in the background so didnt really pay much attention so ive got that recored all ready to watch in the morning!


Sunday - I think Sunday's should naturally be a PJ day :) So ive not even got dressed today, ive kinda added a few more layers on as its abit chilly so im sat here after spending the day catching up with what i had saved on the Sky+ planner, writing blog posts (ive got 4 schedulded) and also ive edited & uploaded 2 more video's to YT, there set as private at the moment & will be unprivated in the week! Watched Xfactor this morning and i wasnt over impressed with anyone this week! not good! My chest is really bad today, im going back to the Dr's tomorrow see what he says, i should be back at work on Tuesday just dont want to go if my chest is still like this!

I'm so cold my nails have turned BLUE!

So im not going to go on and on and on about the snow and the cold but ITS FREEZING! this picture was taken this morning

This colour reminds me of the Barry M colour in Navy! I think it looks different colours in natural light and also in artificial light ... but like all Barry M colours i LOVE it!! 

Ive also decided to chop all my nails off so there all short ... im liking the short nails at the moment too,i think short nails look better with dark colours!!
